For the length of my professional career I have proven myself as a self starter with the ability to hit the ground running. I have taken on leadership roles and have been an effective team leader as well as mentor to my colleagues. With an unrelenting emphasis on self education I have always strived to maintain a vast working knowledge of today’s client server technologies. Achievements:

  • Developed a proof of concept for loading, updating, and integrating the NLM Medline database. This included designing a dB scheme accurately representing the Medline DTD, developing a XML object mapping utilizing Castor to load and update MySQL Medline dB, conceptualized and architected integration strategy for verity, and client services to utilize system via SOAP and EJB.
  • Analyzed and refactored drug search and service layer to eliminate ongoing application problems and performance issues.
  • Worked with team to reengineer primary CMS workflow and content caching strategy.

After joining the company in October 2000 I was given the task of analyzing and architecting their B to C web presence from a static implementation to 100% dynamic system with a centralized administration portal for Web Masters and store managers. In May of 2001 I was promoted to Web Architect with the responsibilities of implementing, and supporting these two key projects. I also served as the Team Leader for both development efforts and took on the role as mentor for the development team.
